Romanian athletes have conquered five medals, three gold and two silver ones, on Sunday, in the final stage of the 25th edition of the Suzuki World Cup of aerobic gymnastics, taking place in Tokyo, Agerpres informs.
Romanians have succeeded in conquering the first two steps of the podium in the individual all-around women event, Oana Corina Constantin winning the gold medal with 21, 400 points, followed by Maria Bianca Becze, with 20,700 points. In the individual all-around men event, the victory belonged to the Japanese Mizuki Saito, with 22,150 points, while Romanian Mircea Zamfir ranked 7th, with 20,600 points.
In the mixed pair event, the victory belonged to Romanians Mariu Ciprian Petruse/Maria Bianca Becze, with 20,850 points, followed by South-Koreans Yoon Chang-il/Park Yeon-Sun, 20,550 points.
The victory in the three-round event was claimed by Chinese Che Lei/Han Mingzhe/Wang Zizhuo, with 21,150 points, followed by Romanians Andreea Bogati/Oana Corina Constantin/Anca Claudia Surdu, with 20,916 points.
Romania (represented by Maria Bianca Becze, Andreea Bogati, Oana Corina Constantin, Bianca Gorgovan, Anca Claudia Surdu) obtained another medal as a group, with 20.816 points won, followed by South Korea, with 20,750 points, and China, with 20.700 points.
