In the heart of Transylvania is the most mysterious place in Romania. In Hoia-Baciu Forest, believed to be the scariest place by locals, people say they suffer burns and are surrounded by material and immaterial structures and that there have been UFO sightings. A documentary about the paranormal phenomena in Hoia-Baciu Forest near Cluj was posted on YouTube. The video was done last year by writer Daniel Roxin and university professor Adrian Patrut, head of the Romanian Parapsychology Society, according to Realitatea.net.

Specialists say there are many unusual phenomena in the forest, mentioning UFOs, luminous spheres, flying geometrical shapes, colored lights, strange humanoid apparitions, radioactive mobile fields and others.

On his blog, Roxin says the documentary “Baciu Forest, a Romanian Bermuda Triangle,” presents exceptional video and photo materials and the testimonies of two researchers who investigated this enigmatic place for years, Patrut and Cristian Muresan, producer of the show “Science and knowledge” on TVR Cluj.

The Hoia-Baciu forest became famous all over the world in 1968. On August 18 that year, a military technician Emil Barnea was in the forest with his girlfriend and two family friends, wishing to spend a weekend far from the city.

The four people say they saw what appeared to be a UFO flying very low, without making any noise. Barnea managed to take several photos of it.

The pictures were described as “the clearest images of a UFO photographed in Romania and undoubtedly, some of the best images of a UFO ever photographed in the world.”
